Raspberry Sour Tea

In my first week of the keto diet I was desperate for something with flavor to drink.  Luckily in my desperation, I remembered my mom making a yummy tea mixture one summer with herbal flavored tea packets.  I had some herbal raspberry tea already in my cabinets, so I gave cold-brewing it a shot - it was decent, but still not the flavor kick I was hoping for.

I was already drinking a lot of  Bragg's apple cider vinegar and water mixture for health benefits like heart burn.  So I figured why not combine the two?  It was not a mistake!  This Raspberry Sour Tea really hit the spot.  I was going through whole pitchers in a day.  Celestial Seasonings stock went up when I started the keto diet.

Instructions
  1. Cold brew the tea by adding two packets to a full pitcher of water.
  2. Allow to brew in refrigerator for 2 hours. More time will strengthen the flavor.
  3. Once brewed pour a glass.
  4. Add 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar to glass. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes

I add the apple cider vinegar individually to each glass instead of mixing in the entire pitcher.  It is more fresh to me that way, and I can add more or less as my taste desires at the time.

  1. I am curious to know if this is “Raspberry Zinger” Celestial Seasonings tea. I can’t find anything else on their website.

    1. Yes! I use the Raspberry Zinger. There are also other brands that have an herbal raspberry flavor. You can also make this with any herbal fruit flavor if you don’t like raspberry – so there’s tangerine, watermelon, also sorts of options!
