Cauliflower “Seasoned Fries”

I bake this cauliflower recipe at almost every family meal that needs a keto side dish.  Most of my family doesn't eat keto, but they still love these seasoned "fries".

In fact, my sister asks for them and even my 2 year old nephew (who doesn't eat vegetables) will have a few pieces.  I think these would be a great dish to bring to a football tail-gate.

Now the next trick will be forming them into the shape of french fries.  Hmm, any suggestions?!

In my opinion, the more crispy burnt stuff the better, so don't be afraid to broil them for a few minutes at the end of cooking.  But do keep an eye on them around the 30 minute mark.  I've now made them in several ovens and the baking time varies tremendously.

Cauliflower "Seasoned Fries"
A yummy keto substitute for seasoned french fries. Cauliflower is so versatile as a keto vegetable. This seasoning and the browning in the oven make this a keto recipe everyone will love - including kids and non-keto dieters.

Instructions
  1. One head cauliflower chopped into florets pieces (larger than one quarter, but not larger than two quarters).
  2. Put cauliflower in plastic tupperware or plastic bag.
  3. In tupperware, add olive oil (enough to coat). Shake cauliflower so that it gets coated with olive oil.
  4. Add in all of the seasonings except salt. Again shake tupperware container until all the pieces are coated with seasoning.
  5. Lay out evenly on pan.
  6. Sprinkle salt on top.
  7. Bake on a pan at 425F for 30 minutes. You want the cauliflower pieces to be browning on top.
  8. If not browning at the end of 30 minutes, switch oven to broil for 3-5 minutes. (Make sure to watch, broil is super hot)
